The First United Methodist Church Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that was established January 26th, 1982. It supports the mission of the First United Methodist Church of West Lafayette, IN. and its programs, in perpetuity.
The Foundation accepts gifts, bequests, legacies, and donations, which are added to endowment funds. The capital accumulates as new assets are received, and through careful investing for the long term. Projects approved by the Board are funded with the income from these investments.
By its design, the Foundation provides funding for projects and activities in each of several ministry areas of the church, which the Foundation identifies asMinistry Enhancement Accounts.
